Infant: In our spacious infant room you will find an array of items and areas for your child to enjoy. Nestle in our quiet cozy corner with soft books and stuffed animals or take a bounce in our jumper swing! There are also infant/young toddler sized shelves filled with an array of new sensory toys, musical instruments, balls, and nesting stackable blocks. The room is also equipped with a microwave and full size refrigerator for your child’s food items.  You will also be glad to know that each child is assigned their own crib for the time of their enrollment within this classroom.

Young Toddler: This room is filled with many different learning centers. Step inside and you will find a dramatic play area, puzzle shelf, reading mat/cozy corner, musical instruments, and ball play. There is also an attached covered deck with riding toys and dramatic play items just for this age group! Art projects are done on a daily basis for those early learners. Also, a changing table is conveniently placed within the room for your child’s needs.

Older Toddler: In this newly remodeled room your child can play basketball, tumble on the climbing mat, magnify science items, play dress-up,  have a puppet show, and much more! The theme-based curriculum focuses on stimulating children’s everyday experiences and teaching them about the wonders of the world as well as their ABC’s and 123’s! Art projects are done on a daily basis and potty training is always an important part of the daily schedule. Lastly, enjoy the private covered deck area made simply for toddlers.

Transitional Three: Our Center feels the importance to divide 3 year olds and 4 year olds. The reason for this, being that young 3’s need to prepare for the structure of a Preschool curriculum. Our Transitional Three room helps young 3 yr olds develop the mannerisms and social skills along with academic beginnings. The curriculums used in this classroom include Zoophonics and Alphafriends. Letter pronunciation and theme-related lessons will guide your child into the Preschool room!

Preschool: The Preschool environment is a more structured classroom with a curriculum that will transition your child directly into kindergarten. In this spacious sun-lit classroom your child will experience chinchillas and a rabbit as class pets, an art center, dramatic play, a writing center, blocks, a science area, and an overabundance of educational resources and tables centers. You must come see this room for yourself!

SlateBeltAcademy (Private Kindergarten): Our state-certified private kindergarten is for those who choose a more one-on-one approach within a smaller group setting (a ratio of 1 teacher per 12 children).  Also, our curriculum time runs from 8-1 with a healthy meal included. Our cut-off date is January 1st for those of you who may have missed the public school’s date. The curriculum focuses on reading, journal writing, advanced math, and fun science! In addition, we offer after-school care and transportation for those who attend public kindergarten.

School Age (1st grade thru 7th grade, or 13 yrs. old): Our before and after school program offers breakfast, snack, and transportation. Within our school age room, your child can create art projects, participate in an array of popular board games, or active educational games. We also offer a reading area, homework room, science items, and cooking projects. Or relax in our spacious Playstation Room with 6 Playstations and a countless number of “E” rated games.
